The Evangelist seems to be Gorillaz new accession to the band, despite rumors of braking up.
The Gorillaz have simply added a new addition, The Evangelist, to their crew. Even though there are strong rumours that the set is finished, the crew added their new member on Tuesday this week. This new animated character can almost be described as "nightmarish" with its humanoid body frame and clawed hands.
