GORILLAZ TO BE United BY LOU REED OCT. !7 IN LOS ANGELES .

Gorillaz have confirmed that Lou Reed will connect them one more time on the Flight To Plastic Beach tour, appearing with Damon Albarn, Jamie Hewlett and crew October 27 at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles. This the 2nd time Reed will join Gorillaz on the tour, the foremost being October 8 at New York's Madison Square Garden. Miho Hatori will be the second special guest from the Madison Square Garden extravaganza to reappear at the Los Angeles show.

The two additional special guests at the L.A. date will appear along with De La Soul, LittleDragon, Bobby Womack and other touring guests of the Gorillaz Plastic Beach band which features Mick Jones and Paul Simonon ofthe Clash. The Los Angeles crowd can expect Reed reprise his lead vocalturn on "Some Form Of Nature" from Gorillaz' current Plastic Beach, andHatori to guest on "19-2000" from Gorillaz' classic self-titled debut. Other special guest appearances on the Flight To Plastic Beach tour have includedMos Def's performances at the Garden, as good as October 10 at CamdenNJ's Susquehanna Bank Centre and October 11 at the Patriot Center inWashington DC. Other regular guests of the Gorillaz Plastic Beach bandinclude Bootie Brown, the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Bashy, Kano and Roses Gabor. Only six dates remain beforethe North American leg of the Gorillaz tour wraps November 3 inVancouver and heads overseas for a serial of ten shows across Europe andthe UK, as good as, seven shows across Australia and Asia.
